Time & Tide Waits for No Man

Remember when I first started work, I used to blog every morning when I come in to work. Well, times have changed. Right now I'm the busiest temp staff in the office. This morning, I just did something totally out of my job scope. I became the Utility Man as I helped shift files, move shelves, carry tables, fix partitions and set up computers. While doing all of that, I was thinking of the pile of work left behind in my cubicle and how on earth am I gonna finish all of that. Morning blogging has been and will be a thing of the past. Right now while I'm blogging, I'm simultaneously feeding myself, lunching at my desk. Fortunately, as a certain loO always justifies our heavily slashed paycheck, temp staffs have no responsibilities whatsoever when it comes to handing in work.

The weekend was pretty alright. I went to meet loO and sHiao. sHiao was cutting his hair at chinatown point kimage, which stunned me when I came to know of it. I mean there's this guy from da funties who used to not freaking care about his image and now there he is splurging on haircut!!? No further comments -_-'"

Anyway we decided the night was still young and good so we decided to do some exercise. We strolled from outram to chinatown to clarke quay, then to funan to do some shopping. Sorry for the interruption but I would like to complain about a certain KFC counter girl. Com'on wake up your idea not every single human being in the world likes mayonnaise so freaking get the order correct and keep your attitude in your pocket. I mean you are in the SERVICE industry so jolly well give some good SERVICE. Back to the walking part, we continued to head to raffles city, dhoby ghaut, all the way to orchard. That's a total of 6 mrt stations! To think both loO and I had train concessions and sHiao suggested mrt, how on earth did we end up walking!?

I spent yesterday lazing at home. It's been long since I spent Sunday at home, just doing nothing significant in particular and a little of my own personal time. In army they call it admin time. I guess it's something like that. Phantom of the Opera was the Sunday prime movie - which I missed almost the entire show because my bro was watching the lost world on cable TV - but it doesn't really matter since I'd the VCD. I really regretted not buying tickets for the upcoming POTO (the real thing) as that period of time I was a little short. Well, I guess I'll have to watch it next time it comes. As someone once said: broke is temporary, poor is permanent.

Oooh.. Just as I was typing in I got a call from a doctor, one of those attending the event I was coordinating. It's so shiok speaking to those doctors because they'll be ultra polite. I'm not sure whether it's because they chose to (to uphold the DOCTOR's reputation) or they had to (because we're their in-charge). Either way, it feels good to be politely spoken to because manners is somewhat of a rarity these days. For example plse refer to 2 para above ^_^
