Night of Tears

She cried. So did I.

Uncontrollable tears
The strong and unfaltering him
Or so he thought
Emotions took his strength
And swept him off his stranglehold
Of unyielding obstinateness

Like men before him
Ever valiant and arrogant
Or so they thought
But no man can fight the love curse
And none could stop the heart poison
Of remarkable incisiveness
