The past few days have been vooming past. Like time after ns can never be enough. Countless of appointments out of a sudden, like everyone ORDs and stuff. 24hrs not enough really...Happy Valentines Day!It's a week and counting since I ORDed and am still the unemployed sector in the economy. It may not have a great impact on the society, but it certainly has a great impact on me! Day by day I go to the ATM, only to realise it's only getting lower and lower. I think soon i'll have to stay at home everyday and cook porridge. Not that I haven been changing my life. I've already decided to miss out on New Year clothes, abeit some tees which cost less than 30 bucks at a discounted rate. The most obvious solution will be to find employment. Only then i'll not have to depend on food supplies at home for survival, and perhaps spend my money more freely.My old look-for-job buddy and 3SG(NS) Loo has gone in search of living through recuitment agents. Me, on the other hand, has perhaps lost hope in these so called agents. My behavious, of course, is very justifyable. Despite helping you to find employment, the so called "jobs" that they provide are mostly like cheap labour, manual work or pathetic working times. They get you work that pays 5 per hr, do your math and minus the CPF contribution, you realise you're probably better off unemployed. Once they asked us to go to a certain factory and carry stuff. It isn't exactly very hard work, but it's just not the type of employment that ppl like us seek, right? And pathetic working times just refers to either sad working hrs or maybe a 2-day job (wat the heck right?).So anyway we decided to invest a little time this festive and start a small little sell flowers thing. But being your own boss just means everything you gotta do, which is like crazeee cos if you don't do u just don't get the freaking money. And so we gotta work a little harder this V day to make many ppl (and their gfs) smile. Earn money and make ppl happy. What a great venture. (making myself sound so noble). A little cash to tide me over this difficult transitional period. This word sounds damn familiar..it's like everywhere! My previous office is in transition. Arsenal is in transition.
