Me... The Tekong Guardian
Hi ladies & gentlemen...
Long time no posting liao hor, cept for a few of must-hafs-lyrics here n dere. Yup and updates on my life. I just ended my BSLC (basic section leader course) and now i'm official Corporal HH Lin! Not that it's anything to be proud of, especially when it's just like going thru routine and getting the rank. But like one of my frenz said it was kind of like earning your rank by going thru the "hell-week". I supposed that's all that mighty G coy can muster up for the trainees. 32 route march was shagged, mainly because of the lag of sleep rather than the distance. Think i really can't do w/o sleep.
Not really hard to guess where i'll go from here. Nowhere! I'll still stay in beautiful tekong paradise and enjoy 12 more weeks of ASLC (advance section leader course). Not exactly staying here cos this course involves moving hse every 3 weeks or less. Cool uh, and u get to go ROC (Republic of China) which in fact it Taiwan. Why is it called ROC i also don't get it. Maybe the lion city fears the sleeping giant and hence supports the union or ROC. Shall not blab on politics.
You know wats worst about this paradise? Is that it's hidden deep inside the vegetation. You even haf to take a bus in from the ferry terminal. That sucks cause it affects reception and it falls perfectly into the 0.1% that M1 does not cover under the sun. Ask those whom i've conversed with inside, the line keeps getting cut off and the conversations r like u hear half the words n u're left guessing wats the rest. Tell me if it doesn't suck.
Not bad uh at least this place entitles u to a leave of 3 days! So i'll haf to book in on wed night, which is much better than ppl who haf to report on monday morning. Anytime no matter how long outside in the civilian world is heaven to army guys. Whoever will disagree? Let's see... I'm left with 1 & a half day! Wth! Like so fast? Can't be right? Must be count wrongly. Shall go count again =X
