One week to enlistment. Spending the days most wonderfully, but as ivan puts it, the last week of your freedom, everyone treats u specially well. Seldom do ppl turn you down when you ask them out. Yesterday was my last day at work. Really when you work your last day at one place, you feel really shiok. Like you can totally enjoy yourself and feel nothing at all. Not even if like others are serving the main course and you're still waiting for the soup (2 courses back). Not even if the pure sight of the F&B manager turns you off completely, and that why he's in such a position you understand not. And not even the thought of leaving all your dearest fellow collegues (for good) bothers you. Not that the place stinks normally, but you have that added incentive to work on the last day. Maybe that's cos you know you'll neva have to pick up the lousy mess that you might have created. Or maybe it's cos you just want to enjoy the moment, cos probably you'll neva work there again. Ah, you just have to experience it yourself
I'll carry youYeah I know it hurts,
Yeah I know you're scared walking down the road that leads to who knows where.
Don't you hang your head don't you give up yet when courage starts to disappear
I will be right here.
When your world breaks down and the voices tell you turn around.
When your dreams give out I will carry you, carry you.
When the stars go blind and the darkness starts to flood your eyes.
When you're falling behind, I will carry you.
Everybody cries, Everybody bleeds,
No one ever said that life's an easy thing.
That's the beauty of it, when you lose your way,
Close your eyes and go to sleep and wake up to another day.
When your world breaks down and the voices tell you turn around.
When your dreams give out I will carry you, carry you.
When the stars go blind and the darkness starts to flood your eyes.
When you're falling behind, I will carry you.
You should know now that you're not alone.
Take my heart and we will find, you will find, your way home.
When your dreams give out I will carry you, carry you.
When the stars go blind and the darkness starts to flood your eyes.
When you're falling behind, I will carry you, carry you,
I will carry you, carry you, I will carry you, carry you,
I will carry you.
