hey guys i'm back!

ROC's so fun. we'd a 4day 3night unguided navigation exercise, then a 9day outfield n a 4day RNR. many stories to tell, but it's really a great experience. nothing special about taiwan, except the hills r never ending. the weather is kinda cold at night n early morning, but it's much better than singapore! the air is drier so u don't feel yucky even not bathing for so many days. sometimes ur lips will show signs of cracking. another eye opener is to see the sky lit up b4 5am, and by 6 in the evening u can't see the light.

RNR was alright. kinda boring in fact cos we'd an overdose of amusement parks. i wished they'd brought us to the memorial halls instead. the hotel we stayed in was called a 饭店, which suits it better than 'hotel' does. cos it's worse than camp. not that it matters, we hardly spend 6hrs a day in dere. shopping was almost singapore, prices dint differ much. ppl dere haf better looks, perhaps due to the climate changes n four seasons.

one thing that annoyed me is ppl knew we aint local the moment we spoke. that sucks cos it means we were charged tourist prices as if they knew we were there for the taking. training was okay. the 4days navigation was really fun, cos we'd all the freedom in the world! although our pack was heavy, but we really enjoyed ourselves. 9days outfield training was easier than i expected, even though we were undisputedly the toughest (most xiong) platoon around.

in the wink of an eye, that's all sispec is about. end of my trainees days, and start of more responsibilities. my ideal posting would be back to bmtc. btw if u all dint know, our dear fren is going ocs. well done really. and the fellowship of sispec is broken from this thurs 17nov onwards. those i've been with for almost half a yr will all go our own separate ways.

oh yar really hope to see u guys soon, hopefully b4 that 3dec bbq which i heard. yup thats all, take care. grls must study hard for ur exams kae, but don't stress.
