camp no.1

Dec 19
Back from da camp.

As usual still suffering from withdrawal symptoms of camps. This hols-trip-cum-camp was one of the best. Definitely not one of suffering! And fate threw us to the wilds of tasik bera, somewhere in pahang, m'sia. Awake to the fresh air of dawn, with millions of shimmering dots n an occasional shooting star. Far away from da towns n street lights (who gives a damn about the da "bright lights of the cities appeal"?). That feeling was great, not to mention the ever-so-enthu juniors. Singing n joking all the way. When did we get these juniors? Well, n the 2hr bus to the river. First glimpses of day light. Reflecting from the surface of the river. No canoe for the more pro ppl (hahaha i made this up!) since it was downstream (still logical right?). Kk shan't get into another nonsensical argument. Wooden chalet. On slits. Taps that flows, yellow fluid though. And toilet with bats, cobwebs n weird heighted bowls (swat or sit?). Bamboo slits on the ground that we almost broke all when we left. Cosy looking in all. And well the ppl made it more cosy of course. With urbanisation n development.

Blahbery on 'n on. Shall write more when i feel like it =p. Hahaha. I would give up potable water from taps for that kind of environment.
