Just finished a half marathon on sunday, and the feeling is nothing but shiok. Running in town was just great! Even though the road seems never ending but the ever optimist managed to keep his spirits high and finished higher. Well for the entire 21km i guess i managed not to stop, not to drink water or any fluids. Thats quite an achievement i guess. And there are friends around me! Friends whom i depended on otherwise i wouldn't have managed to perserve so long. I guess the spirit of competiton comes in a little and it's really nice to be a little competitive among ourselves. Though i must emphasize for all the ociffer's pride my PO actually sprinted past me at the finishing point. Haha... but pride, we all have, we all who took up the challenge and finished it. Pride couldn't be eaten (even though my ociffer-fren said there's such thing as pride rice!), but having it beats all the good food in the world.

Having a car is the most shiok thing at our age, or probably any age but yah just talking about right now. I wouldnt use happiest or greatest, so i used most shiok cos it's really the way to describe lah. On the same night we'd our run the few of us (we call ourselves the 86 batch cos yah quite self explanatory we're 1986 vintage) stayed over at one guy's hse. He drove us there, n then to padang for flag off. After all the workout we had him drive us to alexandra V and had some steamy hot claypot laksa and juicy avocardo juice! Then drive home while dropping us on the way. Some fren with a car! Some car! I'm so superficial.

But it's really fun nowadays with my 86 batch guys. I mean we are one bunch of really gay guys who squeeze into one aircon room and watch tv and sleep next to each other every night. Oh every night! Cos nowadays we've this thing roll call and it starts like so early so if i go from bishan to tekong every day i'll just die of exhaustion. So now i gotta stay in. Basically HQ life isn't as easy as those ppl in coy lines or units think. But shall not go into an old argument about who suffers more.

On the other hand, just when my relationship starts to pick up and steers towards some stability, that unstability factor that once rocked us so much and threatened so much to nearly sink us that time came back. Not that i'd a choice. What bad timing. Oh on bad timing, what can be worse than sending a gift to someone you love realising that she's in the company of the last person on earth u wanted to see at that point of time - her bf. What an awkward situation. What a love triangle. What drama.
