Hmmm...SAJC is shifting in 2006...

Thats so sad. While it's nearer to my house, it doesn't in any sense affect me (perhaps my brother if possible). Yet, the feeling of the old campus will be gone. Imagine after 2yrs u go back to the site n all u see is an empty space of land. There'll be a signboard that goes like "State land: no trespassing, no......etc" whatever. No matter what, we'll have a certain sense of belonging to the piece of land, the buildings, every pillar, every tree, every tile, every grass... I dowan it this way! No doubt it'll benefit the future batches of SAJC students, but we'll never been able to relinguish the feeling of being in that school again. Cause with the setting up of a new site the old site will never be going to be utilitsed again. Haiz... There will be no place where various batches of seniors can meet up n visit the teachers, their junior, n most importantly the school. N as I'm saying this, tomorrow will be the day...

Tomorrow most of my dear friends will be receiving their AO chinese results. Incidentally, the announcement of chinese AO being scraped from the university admission criteria, where now a bare minimum of D7 is needed to bring u to university, coincides with the lessening of worries for AO chinese results. The entire chinese department is now put under so much stress that I predict by this day next month half of them would have quit their job or searched for another in the other departments or fields. So much for the opening up of the China market which will supposed to put more emphasis on the chinese language. I ain't complaining, I'm just worried about the competitiveness these english-grown n english-spoken singaporeans can compete globally with other mandrain-speaking people for a place in the great China market. Predictions are by 2050, the amount of people speaking mandrain is triple that of english. Argh anyway I ain't in any position to comment. Hahahaha...

All the best to my dear friends. I believe that you all will do it. Com'on it's only a D7... Good luck pals =)
